Dancing At Homecoming...?

Ok, so my bfs homecoming was last nite. I went into the place where every1 was dancin, and they were all in the middle..not that many people (like 50) cs half were just walking around the school or just chilling (is that normal) and i was kinda disappointed lke really cs i thot it would be everyone having a fun time but the way people danced at the dances is far from what i expected..i thot u would be face and face and moving but when i got in there the guys front was to the girls back and they were like each other but i did it with my bf and ya it was weird so is this normal or wat? the walls or also wet..
