How long should last the first time?

My bf and i had for the first time last night. It was really good, but did last very long before he finished. We were both virgins so dont really have anything to compare too. He was a little worried about how quick he was, but i told him not to worry and that we would both get better. Just out of curiousity, how long does last the first couple times?
