Water well pump wont shut off when we flush toilet ?

We just bought a house that has a few weird things with the well we have not encountered before. 1. the well is actually in the house. 2. It doesnt have a holding tank really ,just a little propane size tank. So when ever you turn the water on the well comes on. 3. Whenever you run water it turns on then turns off when the water is shut off. except when you flush the toilet. It just keeps going. We let it run for a bit to see if it just needed to build up pressure or something but it would not turn off even after 10 minutes and was starting to get very hot. If you turn it off at the light switch its hooked to and then turn it back on it is fine untill you flush the toilet agian. We have checked where you prime the well on the top and when you open it water just pours out . Does anyone know what could cause this and how to fix it. I have called all over the area for someone to come out and fix it but no one is available for a couple weeks.
