Why is it Catholics, particularly those who would be defined as "devout" in nature, tend to want to overlook the fact their Church, which earlier participated in the tortuous and abusive "Inquisitions", now is infamous for the perverted pedophiles the church hierarchy attempted to, and continues to attempt to protect?
